Our Patinated Brass sinks and accessories are made of living material, which will evolve in its colour. You can leave the sink to develop its own unique colouring, or you can follow the Care Instructions which will help you manage the sink’s colour with either simple daily cleaning or more intensive periodic polishing. The polishing involves use of scouring pad and water, or abrasive cream such as the Pink Stuff for more stubborn stains. After cleaning, the sink can be wax-sprayed for limited protection. Also, you might find this Instagram post interested, it shows how the brass sink can be de-patinated, i.e. how to manage its colour shade:

If you are trying to rematch the colour with your Quooker Patinated Brass tap, you will have to make sure that you leave some patina on the sinks surface, i.e. not make it totally virgin yellow. The sink will age again in time, but so will the Quooker tap.
