The flush mount sinks are the modern and superior version of conventional inset sinks, their main advantage being the seamless and more hygienic work surface that they provide, which prevents the build up of dirt between the sink's rim and its surrounding worktop or countertop. The flush fit sinks can be top mounted to worktops of any material, including the laminate, which makes them a more flexible and affordable alternative to the under-mount sinks, whilst providing the same seamless surface benefits. This illustration shows a typical flush sink installation (in this instance within a 600mm cabinet):
We recommend that you always check with your worktop suppliers or templaters whether they are able to properly cut out a hole for flush mounted sinks, an autocad drawing can be provided for their CAD machines if required. Alternatively, Alveus flush fit sinks can also be flat or slim mounted, which is a more straightforward method of fitting.
